Napoleon Wargame. The price of triumph

A cycle of events, from 10 February to 12 may, proposes an analysis of the epoch starting from a little-known theme: the anti-Napoleonic and counter-revolutionary uprising.

On 9 may 1796 Bonaparte completes the crossing of the Po, between Piacenza and San Rocco al Porto to rejoin the army of Italy. In the years since, the Napoleonic domination in our city led to changes and progresses but also repression and sufferings.

The cycle of events of "Napoleon WARGAME, the price of triumph" offers an analysis of the time starting from a little-known theme: the anti-Napoleonic and counter-revolutionary uprising and the revolt of the inhabitants against the French troops’ occupation.
